The University of Michigan, Ann Arbor, is one of the only universities in the world to house two carillons. The historic 53-bell Charles Baird Carillon in Burton Memorial Tower rings out over Central Campus on weekdays from 12-12:30 pm. The Lurie Carillon rings out over Gerstacker Grove on North Campus on weekdays from 1:30-2 pm and is open to the public during recitals.

UM offers a master of music degree in carillon performance. Its distinguished alumni perform and teach throughout North America.
